ABOUT ME
Joe Burt is freelance scenic designer and visual artist based in Brooklyn, New York. He is a graduate of the BFA Theatre Design & Technology program at Emerson College in Boston, MA. He currently works as an associate and studio assistant for Arnulfo Maldonado. He has also worked as a studio assistant for Alexander Dodge, Ann Beyersdorfer and Meredith Ries, on their Off-Broadway, Regional, and International productions.

Joe has spent three summers at the Williamstown Theater Festival as an assistant scenic designer and scenic artist. Recent design credits include SUMMER'S SOLDIER and SATURDAY MORNING CARTOONS WITH CEREAL for the festival's community works initiative & fellowship program. He is a six-time EVVY award nominee for outstanding scenic design at Emerson College, including wins for OCTOPUS and IPSEITY. His design for A BRIGHT ROOM CALLED DAY received 1st runner up for scenic design at the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival region one. See full resumé below.
